Dr. Michael Stachiw led the section on backing up computers. His discussion included what things to back up on computers. Dr. Stachiw talked about the importance of backing up complete computers, booting information, and data files. Part of his discussion focused on different media types including compact discs, tapes, and floppy disks. Several examples of backup utilities were also discussed.
