Phil Warnken, founder of AgBrazil (http://www.agbrazil.com), shared his experiences with starting a web-based agriculture business to the participants at the conference. He talked about the major steps involved: setting up the business; designing, building, and publishing the web site; doing business on the Internet; and evaluating experience. Dr. Warnken also gave helpful hints to those interested in starting their own ag business.
