The general session of the annual Computers On The Farm
Conference began with introductions of the Advisory Council. The
participants introduced themselves and what type of computer they
are using. Approximately 90% of this years participants are IBM
users. Nearly 1/3 have e-mail and Internet access. However,
everyone is curious & agree they must get to know their computer
to efficiently organize their farm records. Several people were
enticed to the conference to learn more on GPS & their computer.
MIR also showed success among many farmers who are long-time
users of the program.
