The using electronic mail session was given by Jim and Deanna Crocker, and Sharon Hein. Jim and Deanna showed how to send and recieve e-mail on the JUNO e-mail service. JUNO is a free e-mail package that is available to anyone that has a modem on their computer. They showed the features of JUNO and told how to get started on the JUNO system. Sharon Hein showed how the PINE e-mail system works on the Columbia Online Information Network (COIN). PINE is a package that works like other e-mail packages. It sends and recieves e-mail, has an address book to store e-mail addresses, and allows for files to be attached and sent with e-mail.
