      Q : What is the maximum Section 179 deduction for 2009?

      A : The maximum annual Section 179 expense amount for 2009 is $250,000. Acquisitions must meet all of the following tests to quality for Section 179.

        1 : It must be eligible property.

        2 : It must be acquired for business use.

        3 : It must have been acquired by purchase.
