Deirdre "D.K." Hirner who has served as executive director of the Conservation Federation of Missouri has resigned her position to move to Springfield, Illinois. Hirner served the Federation for the last five years and gained high respect from legislators and conservationists for her knowledgeable approach to lobbying. She was selected to serve on the special advisory committee to the Governor on the chip mill controversy.
