Landowners with Conservation Easements -
Participate in a Paid Research Study
A research team from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Missouri is conducting research regarding landowner perceptions of conservation easements. The goal of this project is to gain insights into landowners' motivations for placing their land under conservation easement, the challenges encountered, and their attitudes and takeaways from the experiences.
If you are a Missouri landowner who has placed a conservation easement on your property and you may be willing to participate in a one hour phone or video-call interview for this project, please fill out this short questionnaire https://missouri.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2366dlPWAS1pv7L. The questionnaire is voluntary and should take five minutes or less to complete. It will ask you some contextual questions about yourself and your property, as well as your preferred way of being contacted by the research team for the interview. At the conclusion of the interview, a check for $25 will be provided for participation.
If you have any questions about the project, the questionnaire, or the interview process, please reach out to Sarah Brown (sabqf5@mail.missouri.edu) or Prof. Robin Rotman (rotmanr@missouri.edu; Phone: 573-882-5693).
