Green Horizons

The 2010 Tree Farm Showcase (formerly the State Tree Farm Conference) will be Saturday, April 10, on the Nussbaum Tree Farm in Cape Girardeau County. The day’s activities will start with indoor sessions at the MU Extension Center in Jackson. Following a catered lunch, participants will travel to the Nussbaum Tree Farm where they will have the opportunity to see the results of several forest management practices. In addition, the Nussbaums have kept excellent harvest records that show money can grow on trees! Details are still being finalized.
