Tree Farmer Dennis Evans shows how to prune young walnut seedlings and saplings to improve stem quality for eventual quality walnut products. The workshop will run 10 a.m. to noon. Tour topics will include timber stand improvement of a recently harvested site and management of a plantation of 5,000 trees in a riparian buffer strip.
